Tuesday Morning Bible Study (Tuesdays @ 9:00 AM)
John Goldingay’s Bible Study - 1 & 2 Samuel
This volume covers the stories of Israel's first kings--Saul and David. Goldingay gives them the royal treatment with chapter titles including "Sour Hour of Prayer," "When Ministers Indulge Themselves," "How Not to Evade the Draft," and "What Do You Do When You're Desperate?" This class will be taught by Bob Case on Tuesdays in the library from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Cost of the book - $15.00
SEED Bible Study (Thursdays @ 9:00 AM)
SEED is a Bible Study taught by Priscilla Shirer. In a 6-part series of short videos that includes thought-provoking, modern-day parables with weekly Bible study guides. Each workbook contains 3 sessions. The first sessions include: Forgotten: Priscilla reminds us that God notices our worth and cares for us at all times and in all seasons. Enough: God is a good Father to us and He has taken care of you up to now, and He will continue to. His gifts are good and they are always good enough. Control: We all want to do the “leading” and have the “control” in our own life. Giving that up is difficult, but it is what God requires of us – and when we do so, we really can see that it is a beautiful result. This class will end July 28th and is being taught by Deborah Case Kryzak on Thursdays in the library from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Please call Deborah Kryzak at 453-4118 to reserve a workbook.
