St John's offers FaithRangers for children in pre-school to 5th grade. Children will participate in fun workshops that will teach them classic Bible stories and principles. These classes meet each Sunday at 10:10.
During the 9:00 AM service of worship on Sundays, St. John's also offers a children's sermon & children's chapel class. Following the Gospel reading, the children are invited to the altar area to participate in a special children's sermon and then adjourn to the parish hall to participate in a children's version of the Nicene Creed and Prayers of the People. During this time, they learn about different aspects of the rituals involved in the worship service in the Episcopal Church. The children return to the church during the exchanging of the Peace.
St. John's Day School provides a superior education in a Christian Environment for children 2 years through 5th grade. Call the school office at 686-0231 for enrollment information.
Kids Night Out
Kids Night Out is an evening of fun and activities for kids. This is a great way for Mom & Dad to have an evening out while the kids have fun & fellowship in a supervised Christian environment. Ages 3 years through 5th grade are welcome. Cost is $10 per child (includes all activities, dinner & snacks). Watch the church calendar for Kids Night Out events.
Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts & Boy Scouts
St. John's Episcopal Church sponsors Girl Scout troops for girls ages 4 years through 12th grade and Cub Scout/Boy Scout Troops for boys in 1st - 12th grade.
