Lay Ministry
Altar Guild—The members of the Altar Guild prepare the church for all services.
Greeters—Members of the Greeters Ministry welcome newcomers to the church & offer assistance finding classes, activities and general information before and after church services.
Lay Eucharistic Ministers —Lay Eucharistic Ministers assist during the service with reading the prayers of the people and helping with communion.
Lectors—Lectors read the lessons from the Bible during services.
Ushers—Ushers distribute bulletins prior to the service, facilitate seating for church services and provide a variety of services throughout the worship service.
Hospitality Committee—The Hospitality Committee provides snacks on Sundays.
Acolytes— Acolytes light the candles prior to church services, and assist the priest during church services. All youth entering 7th grade or older are welcome to become acolytes.
Music Ministry—St. John’s offers a variety of Music Ministry opportunities ranging from contemporary to traditional music. If you enjoy singing or playing music, this is a great ministry to explore.
Prayer Partners—The Prayer Partner ministry provides intercessory prayer during church services.
Daughters of the King—This women's prayer group meets on a regular basis to pray for the needs of the congregation, community and world.
